Meaningful data. Fuel for a growing church.

No one knows your church like you do.

God has given you a vision for its growth and success, and you’re working diligently to build the kingdom.

But what about the growth-related decisions that are difficult to discern? Where are you lacking clarity? How can you fuel the ministry you are called to pursue?

You know there’s more to growing a church than setting up more chairs and hoping people show up. But how?

Enter The 153 Effect…

Using over three decades of work in churches and spending a LOT of time with numbers, we created The 153 Effect (we say it, “The One Five Three Effect”) to help you measure and understand what drives growth for your church.

Sure, attendance and giving are things to track, but so are the ways you serve, host and connect your guests.

The 153 Effect is a framework to measure and assess your church’s engagement, invite, risk and finance to ensure you have actionable data for clarity and confidence in your decision making.

You know your church and your vision. We make data more meaningful. Together, we’re fuel for a growing church.

Why call this The 153 Effect?

In the Gospel of John after the resurrection of Jesus, Peter and several disciples are fishing (and empty-handed in their efforts) when Jesus encourages them to cast the net again. When they haul the net ashore, Peter counts a hundred and fifty-three large fish, and the net was not torn.

Like the disciples, we believe in listening to where Jesus leads and reaping the abundance of ministry guided by His direction. Together with you, we create The 153 Effect: applying metrics to discern where Jesus is leading and reap the abundance of His ministry.
